December
You may notice that there are a lot of new car ads with a lot of offers around the holiday season. This makes December a great time to buy a new truck.
Black Friday
Black Friday is also an important day for all car dealerships. Dealerships and their salespeople are often looking to meet their sales targets to maximize their annual bonus in the time between Black Friday and the end of the year. Dealerships also want to end the year with higher sales numbers than the previous year. December is usually when they’re in a hurry to sell. They are also keen to move out the year’s inventory to make way for fresh stock. If you do your research properly, you can get a great deal around this time. But that doesn’t mean that you need to wait till December to buy your truck.
Memorial Day Weekend
If you head to a dealership on Memorial Day weekend in May, you can get discounts and incentives from manufacturers and dealers. You can also find decent deals between May and September. October is a great month for you to try and negotiate a good price. It’s near the end of the year, and dealerships really want to start moving their inventory off the lot. The worst months to go looking for a new truck are between January and April. The discounts available during this time, if any, are at their lowest.
Special holidays often see good discounts, special financing, and rebates. Dealerships often get a mix of current and new models, starting on the 4th of July. So this means there’s more variety and a chance of getting a good deal. Labor Day weekend is also similar. Veterans Day sees great deals on trucks too. Head to a car dealership on New Year’s Eve, the last day for dealers to make their quotas, and you can work out an amazing deal on your new truck.
